Dog Mountain on the Columbia River Gorge

We went hiking with our friends from church.

You have to have a dog to be a member of our Sunday School class (not really, but we all do have one -or two- and they all get along!).

The weather was really crummy...

Me and my sweet dog.

First hike post-surgery and she did very well. We were hoping to wear her out (the hike is STRAIGHT uphill). Didn't even phase her.

Luke and I are dog (mountain) tired.

We had a blast and enjoyed the beautiful day and scenery!

I LOVE my Uncle Luke!

Back away Aunt Kristen!! He's mine, ALL mine!

It is possible she's all smiles cuz Luke looks like her dad... Well, at least that's what I told myself when she cried everytime Luke left the room....

Seattle Sitters and Sisters

Luke and I watched our nieces, Jorja and Gigi, for a weekend while their mom and dad gallivanted about Yosemite.

Silly Aunt Kristen, this is a crown for Princess Jorja, not a visor! What were you thinking writing my name upside down??
We think they put up with us okay.

"Wanna go for a RIDE?"

"Do I have to go to the vet again??"

"Wait! That's Grampa's driveway!"

The Aftermath of Spring Softball

Spring Softball

Our biggest, well really, our littlest fans.

Luke LOVES this sport. We did pretty good in our first tournament. Go Beaverton First Baptist!
